FritoLay - Aki no Kinoko Bataa Aji

Kinoko (a variety of mushroom) is the best mascot for Autumn. So what better way to cash in on the Autumn snack scene then a product like this?

Mushrooms are tasteless and odorless in their natural state and cooking them in butter creates an aromatic dish that's quite hard to beat.

When you bite down on these puffs, the subtle taste of kinoko, butter and corn burst within your mouth. The aftertaste is that of lingering kinoko.

I had no problem finishing the whole packet of puffs in one sitting, it wasn't greasy or heavy on the stomach.

This is a season-limited product and will disappear from the any shelves the moment winter comes to Japan. It is a standard practice for japanese manufacturers to stop production of season limited products once the season is over and rarely would you see the same product again in a near future.
